Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai Voltron and combat-theft strategy commanded by Kotis, the Fangkeeper. It uses a dense suite of 1-mana and 2-mana acceleration to deploy Kotis on Turn 3. Because Kotis is a non-Human Zombie Warrior with innate indestructible, it serves as an ideal host for the mutate mechanic. On Turn 4, the deck mutates creatures like Brokkos, Apex of Forever, Auspicious Starrix, or Otrimi, the Ever-Playful onto Kotis, or enhances it with high-impact auras and equipment such as Blackblade Reforged, Scale Up, and Genji Glove. When Kotis connects in combat, its triggered ability exiles cards from the defending player's library and casts eligible spells for free. This converts combat pressure into massive tempo and board advantage. While resilient against destroy wraths due to indestructible, the deck relies on combat damage across multiple rotations to close out the game.
