Commander: The Mindskinner

Deck overview

This is a focused mono-blue mill deck helmed by The Mindskinner, a 10/1 unblockable enchantment creature that converts all damage you would deal to opponents into symmetrical mill. The primary plan layers efficient two-card mill combos-chiefly Bruvac the Grandiloquent plus half-library effects-with continuous mill engines (Ruin Crab, Mesmeric Orb, Psychic Corrosion, Sphinx's Tutelage) and combat finishers that weaponize the commander's damage-replacement text. Equipment such as Fireshrieker and Blackblade Reforged turn a single Mindskinner swing into massive table-wide mill, while clone pieces (Spark Double, Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, Auton Soldier, Irenicus's Vile Duplication) multiply Bruvac or the commander. The deck wins by emptying libraries rather than dealing combat damage to life totals, and its combo lines live almost entirely in the 99, so the plan executes even if the commander is answered.
