Budget Slimefoot by Buddadragon

Format: Commander

Commander: Slimefoot, the Stowaway

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari Saproling token swarm deck helmed by Slimefoot, the Stowaway. The primary game plan revolves around generating large numbers of Saprolings via Thallid creatures and death triggers (e.g., Golgari Germination, Bastion of Remembrance), then sacrificing them for card draw and life while using Slimefoot's ping ability to accumulate damage. Threats are deployed through casting and token creation rather than cheating or reanimation. Secondary wins include combat with boosted tokens (via Sporecrown Thallid and Nemata, Grove Guardian) and poison counters from Vraska, Betrayal's Sting. The commander is essential for the ping win condition but the token engine provides some independent value.
