Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Boros Stax Aggro build centered around Winota, Joiner of Forces. The primary game plan focuses on deploying inexpensive, evasive non-Human creatures during the opening turns alongside disruptive stax pieces such as Drannith Magistrate, Archon of Emeria, and Thalia, Guardian of Thraben. On Turn 4, the deck casts Winota and immediately attacks, triggering multiple free triggers that dig six cards deep per attacker to put potent Humans directly onto the battlefield tapped, attacking, and indestructible. Because Winota cheats creatures into play via triggered abilities rather than casting them, the deck completely breaks parity on Rule of Law effects and noncreature taxes. This allows it to severely constrain opponents' mana and spell volume while rapidly escalating combat damage through Blade Historian, Angrath's Marauders, and Goldnight Commander. The deck also packs an infinite combat backup win condition via Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Zealous Conscripts.
