Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari lands and reanimator strategy commanded by The Gitrog Monster. It develops a commanding mana advantage by playing extra lands each turn and recurring fetchlands with Crucible of Worlds, Ramunap Excavator, and Conduit of Worlds. This steady land sacrifice fuels continuous card draw through the commander. Rather than executing traditional competitive Gitrog dredge loops, the deck works toward a devastating one-shot combo: tutoring Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord and Jumbo Cactuar to the graveyard with Buried Alive or Jarad's Orders, reanimating them with Victimize, attacking with Jumbo Cactuar to trigger its 10,000 Needles ability, and sacrificing it to Jarad to deal 10,000 life loss to all opponents at once. Solid spot removal and protection equipment support this lethal line.
