Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Curse control strategy commanded by Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor. It aims to control the pace of the game through defensive enchantments and forced combat while building an inescapable web of Curses. Lynde turns the downside of Curses into a powerful card-advantage engine: when Curses go to the graveyard, Lynde returns them attached to you, allowing you to pass them to opponents on your upkeep to draw two cards. By utilizing sacrifice outlets like Claws of Gix and Despotic Scepter, you can trigger this loop on demand. High-impact cards like Curse of Misfortunes automatically tutor win conditions like Curse of Fool's Wisdom and Curse of Unbinding directly into play. The deck amplifies these effects using upkeep multipliers such as Paradox Haze and Obeka, Splitter of Seconds, steadily draining opposing life totals while sheltering behind pillowfort pieces like Propaganda and No Mercy.
