Commander: Lathril, Blade of the Elves

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Lathril, Blade of the Elves pilots a Golgari elfball deck that floods the board with Elf tokens and converts overwhelming board presence into lethal damage. The primary plan is to develop mana dorks, deploy Lathril, and chain Lathril attacks with token doublers to reach critical mass. The deck then wins with a massive pump (Craterhoof, Finale of Devastation, Ezuri) or with Lathril's life-draining activation, often multiplied by Rings of Brighthearth and untap effects. Secondary drain lines via Shaman of the Pack and Skemfar Shadowsage complement the combat win. The commander is a token/drain engine, not a required combo piece; the deck still functions without her through Ezuri and Finale, making a moderate dependency.
