Format: Commander

Commander: Ashling, the Limitless

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Ashling, the Limitless is a five-color Elemental value-aggro deck. The commander turns every Elemental permanent spell in hand into a {4}-mana evoke spell, then creates a hasty token copy when that original is sacrificed. The main plan is to chain enter-the-battlefield and death triggers around that sacrifice loop, cheat big Elementals into play cheaply, and finish with a wide hasty token attack. Secondary paths are recursive Elemental-value lines through Horde of Notions, Muldrotha, and Haunting Voyage. Horde of Notions is effectively the hidden commander; its WUBRG ability lets the deck play Elementals from the graveyard. The commander is the engine and enabler: without her, the deck keeps working as a slower value pile, but cannot generate the explosive token turns.
