Volty light by user2731702

Format: Commander

Commander: Lightning, Army of One

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Boros equipment-voltron built to make Lightning, Army of One into a one-shot kill. The commander's Stagger trigger doubles all damage to the same player after Lightning connects, so the deck stacks double strike, damage doublers, and extra combat effects to turn a single attack step into lethal commander damage. Backup plans include suiting up Aurelia or Gisela and using life-gain payoffs like Doctor Strange and Aerith for board growth. No hidden commander: Lightning is intended to carry the equipment package, with Cloud tutoring the best pieces and Tiana/Avacyn's Collar providing recovery. The deck is fast but very exposed to artifact hate and commander removal.
