Deck overview

This Golgari kindred deck is commanded by Camellia, the Seedmiser and focuses on amassing a wide army of Squirrel tokens while leveraging Food and Forage mechanics. Early turns focus on establishing resource engines with cheap creatures like Vinereap Mentor and Bonecache Overseer. Once Camellia enters the battlefield, sacrificing Food tokens or foraging cards from the graveyard generates additional Squirrels and distributes +1/+1 counters across the board. The deck leverages natural evasion through Camellia's menace aura, allowing Squirrel swarms to push past blockers. Secondary engines like Chatterfang, Squirrel General and The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl rapidly amplify token counts, while Valley Rotcaller and Craterhoof Behemoth provide decisive win conditions. While the deck possesses strong thematic synergy and rapid board rebuilding via graveyard foraging, its reliance on combat damage and total lack of instant-speed protection spells leave it vulnerable to well-timed board sweepers.
