Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Izzet combo and spellslinger strategy commanded by Niv-Mizzet, Parun. The primary objective is to accelerate mana using fast artifacts and red rituals to deploy Niv-Mizzet on Turn 4, then attach Curiosity or Ophidian Eye. Any card draw or instant/sorcery cast triggers a deterministic loop that deals direct damage while drawing the entire library, culminating in an immediate win with Thassa's Oracle or storm payoffs. If the commander is unavailable or countered, the deck pivots into compact alternate win conditions including the Dualcaster Mage plus Twinflame infinite token loop and Underworld Breach recursion lines with Brain Freeze. While the deck features extreme card velocity and reliable combo finishes, its reactive interaction density is low, requiring careful timing to resolve combo pieces through opposing disruption.
