Deck overview

Magda, Brazen Outlaw commands a proactive mono-red deck that pairs cheap Dwarf tribal synergies with a potent artifact tutor engine. In the early turns, the deck casts low-cost Dwarves alongside utility tap enablers like Springleaf Drum, Holdout Settlement, and Smuggler's Copter to generate Treasure tokens without relying on risky combat attacks. Once five Treasures are amassed by Turn 4, Magda tutors Clock of Omens directly onto the battlefield. Combining Clock with an artifact Dwarf like Universal Automaton, Metallic Mimic, or Roaming Throne produces infinite tapped Treasures, which Magda uses to search up Maskwood Nexus and Reckless Fireweaver for an immediate table-wide burn kill. When the combo line is disrupted, the deck pivots into an aggressive dragon stompy strategy, using Magda to cheat out massive board-warping threats like Portal to Phyrexia, Cavern-Hoard Dragon, and Hellkite Tyrant.
