Abzan Storm by nswoll

Format: Commander

Commander: Teneb, the Harvester

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Teneb, the Harvester leads an Abzan spells-matter deck that plays like a storm deck in the command zone. The real engine lives in the 99: cheap instants and sorceries trigger magecraft and prowess (Witherbloom Apprentice, Professor Onyx, Clever Lumimancer, Monastery Mentor), grow Managorger Hydra and Deeproot Champion, power up Runechanter's Pike, and charge a one-turn kill with Tendrils of Agony, Chatterstorm, or Sentinel Tower. Gaea's Will and Harness Infinity turn the graveyard into a second hand, letting the deck chain ten or more spells in a single turn. Teneb himself is a flying 6/6 whose combat trigger reanimates the best creature from any graveyard - a value layer and the reason for Dragon synergies like Estinien Varlineau and Purging Stormbrood, but not the deck's primary engine. With no infinite combos and minimal tutoring, victory comes from overwhelming spell volume, incremental drain, and combat pressure rather than assembling a deterministic line.
