Deck overview

Kuja is a transform engine, not a pure beatdown commander. The front face's end-step 0/1 Wizards exist to reach four Wizards and flip; the deck is built to use Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, whose Flare Star doubles all Wizard damage. After the flip, every noncreature spell becomes a lethal drain: Black Waltz No. 3 for 4, each Kuja token for 2, and a Black Mage's Rod Hero for 2 (10 per spell with rod). Secondary plans are direct burn (Chandra's Ignition, Crackle with Power) and graveyard recursion (Underworld Breach). Black Waltz and Black Mage's Rod are supporting Wizards, not hidden commanders. The deck goldfishes into a double-damage Wizard cloud and burns all three opponents at once.
