Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mardu Aggro-Cheat build commanded by Kaalia of the Vast. The core game plan accelerates Kaalia onto the battlefield by Turn 3 or 4, protecting her with efficient one-mana defensive spells like Blacksmith's Skill and Fight as One. Upon declaring an attack on Turn 5, Kaalia cheats massive Angel, Demon, and Dragon payloads directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking, bypassing high casting costs. Key payoffs include Master of Cruelties for immediate single-target player elimination, Avacyn, Angel of Hope and Gisela, Blade of Goldnight for asymmetric board dominance, and Balefire Dragon for one-sided creature wipes. An infinite combat win condition is available through the synergy between Helm of the Host and Aurelia, the Warleader. The deck backs up its aggressive clock with targeted removal and situational stax creatures, closing out full multiplayer tables reliably by Turn 7.
