Deck overview

This mono-red deck revolves around Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink to duplicate high-impact creatures for overwhelming bursts of direct damage, combat swings, and temporary theft. Dense mana ramp and explosive rituals like Jeska's Will, Mana Geyser, and Seething Song accelerate the mana base toward Orthion's 9-mana activation. Once operational, Orthion targets creatures like Fanatic of Mogis, Craterclaw Colossus, or Coercive Recruiter to create five hasty copies simultaneously, closing the game in a single explosive turn. The deck also includes an infinite creature loop using Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Zealous Conscripts. While proactive and capable of sudden lethal finishes, the deck lacks instant-speed interaction and defensive protection spells, making it vulnerable to well-timed creature removal.
