Deck overview

Urza, Prince of Kroog is an Azorius artifact-creature deck built around artifact count, anthems, and token production. The primary plan is to cast Urza early as a +2/+2 anthem, fill the board with artifact creatures and Thopters, and finish through evasive combat damage, especially Myr Battlesphere and Urza's {6} copy ability. Secondary threats include Mechanized Production as an alternate win condition and Saheeli's Artistry to duplicate the best artifacts. Urza acts as a multiplier and finisher rather than the engine; the deck still functions if he is removed, though it loses much of its punch. There is no hidden commander or double-faced commander; the artifact shell is the whole strategy.
