R Samurai Tribal Equipment (why is there so few...) by PhoenixFlare

Format: Commander

Commander: Gilgamesh, Master-at-Arms

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-red Equipment/Samurai voltron deck built around Gilgamesh, Master-at-Arms. The primary plan is to cast Gilgamesh, use his enters-and-attacks trigger to look at the top six cards and put Equipment directly onto the battlefield, then chain extra combat phases with Akki Battle Squad, Godo, Bandit Warlord, and Hexplate Wallbreaker to trigger him multiple times per turn. The deck wins through massive commander damage, amplified by Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar (damage to one opponent spreads to all) and Blade of Selves (myriad tokens that each trigger Gilgamesh's ETB). A secondary infinite loop exists with Godo, Bandit Warlord + Helm of the Host for infinite combats and Equipment searches. The deck also packs a deep Equipment suite - Buster Sword, Sword of Hearth and Home, Embercleave, Colossus Hammer - to turn Gilgamesh into a one-shot kill.
