Commander: The Madcap Jester

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis exile-theft midrange deck helmed by The Madcap Jester. The plan is to attack and trigger library exile, then cast the stolen cards using the commander's blanket permission window (and the many self-contained theft engines in the 99). Supporting packages include unblockable attackers, classic Control Magic-style auras, big impulsive casters like Etali, Primal Storm and Fevered Suspicion, and Don Andres, the Renegade as a force-multiplier for creatures you do not own. Umbris, Fear Manifest is a natural finisher that scales with every card opponents own in exile. There are no infinite combo lines; the deck wins through accumulated stolen value and combat. The commander is a strong enabler but not a hard linchpin-most theft pieces already let you play what they exile.
