Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul artifact-token stompy strategy that leverages Aerid Konstrari as a self-fueling mana engine and scaling combat threat. The game plan accelerates in the opening turns with efficient mana dorks and rocks to deploy Aerid on Turn 3, immediately generating an artifact Heartwood token. On Turn 4, the deck layers clone effects, sacrifice outlets, and power-based draw spells, capitalizing on Aerid's 5 power and death triggers to amass cards and mana tokens simultaneously. By Turn 5, accumulated mana powers out decisive finishers such as Displaced Dinosaurs, Craterclaw Colossus, or Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink alongside artifact-burn payoffs like Ingenious Artillerist. The deck finishes opponents across one response cycle through trampling aerial combat damage, direct artifact burn, and fling spells. Built-in death triggers provide outstanding resilience against removal, allowing the engine to rebuild rapidly and overwhelm opponents through sheer resource volume.
