Commander: Hearthhull, the Worldseed

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Hearthhull, the Worldseed is a modal Jund land-sacrifice engine rather than a double-faced commander. The deck pressures with lands as disposable assets: sacrifice lands to Hearthhull's 2+ draw/extra-land ability, then recur them with Ramunap Excavator, Splendid Reclamation, and Aftermath Analyst. Its 8+ mode turns it into a flying drain threat, but the real hidden generals are The Gitrog Monster and Omnath, Locus of Rage, which convert landfall and graveyard land count into cards, tokens, and massive damage. Secondary plans use landfall tokens (Titania, Rampaging Baloths, Scute Swarm) and sacrifice pingers (Mayhem Devil, Braids). A burst of mass land recursion closes the game with Omnath/Moraug.
