Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black aristocrats and big-mana strategy led by Avacyn, Angel of Horror. While the commander offers a powerful late-game attrition engine by returning nontoken creatures on the end step, the primary win condition centers around a compact aristocrats combo. By pairing Warren Soultrader with Gravecrawler and any blood artist effect like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, or Bastion of Remembrance, the deck generates an infinite cast-and-sacrifice loop that drains the entire table in a single turn. Dense ramp packages including Sol Ring, Dark Ritual, and Cabal Coffers accelerate development, while repeatable draw engines such as Grim Haruspex and Dark Prophecy dig into the required pieces. When combo lines face disruption, the deck pivots smoothly into reanimating high-impact threats like Razaketh, the Foulblooded or casting game-ending mana sinks such as Torment of Hailfire and Exsanguinate.
