Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros Dwarf typal and Equipment strategy commanded by Giott, King of the Dwarves. Giott provides innate double strike alongside a repeatable rummaging engine that filters your hand whenever Dwarves or Equipment enter the battlefield. The game plan focuses on establishing an early Dwarf board presence and deploying impactful Equipment such as The Reaver Cleaver, Buster Sword, and Commander's Plate. Mana acceleration through Treasure producers like Magda, Brazen Outlaw and Smothering Tithe fuels high-impact tribal payoffs like Thorin, King of Durin's Folk and Banner of Kinship. While the deck lacks infinite combos or oppressive stax locks, it generates explosive combat finishes using Akroma's Will or heavily buffed double-striking attackers. A robust defensive package featuring Deflecting Swat, Flawless Maneuver, and Teferi's Protection shields key pieces from opposing removal while you eliminate opponents in sequential combat steps.
