Commander: Kosei, Penitent Warlord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-green equipment/aura voltron deck built entirely around Kosei, Penitent Warlord. The plan is to make Kosei enchanted, equipped, and carrying a +1/+1 counter simultaneously, then turn his combat damage into a table-wide draw-and-burn engine. A low 2.26 average MV lets the deck deploy Rancor-class auras and cheap equipment early, while Armory of Iroas and Bone Sabres supply the counters. The primary kill is a single huge swing: with Grafted Exoskeleton or Triumph of the Hordes, Kosei's trigger converts that hit into lethal poison for all three opponents. Without infect, the deck wins through repeated commander damage or by pushing power high with Ancestral Mask, Blackblade Reforged, and Belt of Giant Strength. There are no infinite combos in the 99, so the game plan is linear, commander-centric combat.
