Deck overview

This Simic deck builds a +1/+1 counter engine on The Astonishing Ant-Man, converts those counters into a swarm of Insect tokens, then crashes in with Craterhoof Behemoth. Draw spells and token-ETB triggers feed the commander's growth, while Doubling Season, Branching Evolution, Hardened Scales, and Michelangelo multiply both counters and tokens. Ant-Man, Colony Commander acts as a hidden second commander, adding a slower but redundant token/counter engine. The deck has no infinite combo; it wins through critical mass, with Ghalta and Garruk's Uprising as backup pressure. Interaction is mostly counterspells and protection, so the plan is to assemble a large board and finish before opponents can wipe it.
