Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief by MTGIsMyPassion69

Format: Commander

Commander: Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Simic aura-voltron deck built around Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief's copy ability. The core loop is elegant: cast a spell that targets a single creature other than Ivy - an Aura, a mutate spell, or a protection trick - and Ivy copies it onto herself, turning every single-target spell into a two-for-one. The deck leans heavily on Aura payoffs like Ancestral Mask, Colossification, and Nylea's Colossus to make Ivy lethal in one or two swings, while a constellation/targeting draw package (Season of Growth, Setessan Champion, Eidolon of Blossoms, Ms. Marvel, Kamala Khan) keeps the hand full. Secondary paths include the Venerated Rotpriest poison engine, a Hullbreaker Horror bounce loop, and incidental combat damage from Elder Gargaroth and Toski, Bearer of Secrets. The deck plays at instant speed with a deep protection suite, making it a resilient, tempo-driven voltron that punishes opponents who tap out.
