Blue Counters by nswoll

Format: Commander

Commander: Nardole, Resourceful Cyborg

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Nardole, Resourceful Cyborg leads a mono-blue counters-and-spells deck. Its primary plan is to place +1/+1 and other counters on creatures, use Nardole's scaled mana to cast noncreature spells, and turn a growing board into an unblockable combat. Rikku, Resourceful Guardian is the hidden commander-like payoff: every counter placed on a creature can make that creature unblockable for the turn. Talrand, Sky Summoner and Metallurgic Summonings, with Shark Typhoon as a secondary engine, turn the draw and interaction suite into a wide army. Rite of Replication, Jace, Arcane Strategist, or Time Stretch support closing turns. Nardole is single-faced, and no Doctor is listed for its companion text.
