Deck overview

This deck is a Boros artifact aristocrats and burn strategy commanded by Ragost, Deft Gastronaut. Ragost transforms all controlled artifacts into Food tokens and serves as an efficient sacrifice outlet that burns each opponent for 3 damage. The game plan focuses on generating a high volume of artifact tokens through staples like Academy Manufactor, Servo Schematic, and Weapons Manufacturing. It accelerates this life-drain clock using untap engines such as Sting, the Glinting Dagger and lifelink enablers like Basilisk Collar, which triggers Ragost's end-step untap condition. Backup plans include wide artifact combat damage with Myr Battlesphere and explosive airborne swings with Hellkite Igniter. The deck maintains steady card flow via cantripping artifacts and graveyard recursion engines like Osgir, the Reconstructor and Sun Titan. While vulnerable to mass artifact sweepers and lacking stack interaction, its dense removal suite and redundant burn engines allow it to steadily pressure the entire table.
