Vren Definately not Rat Colong by H3racr055

Format: Commander

Commander: Vren, the Relentless

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Built around Vren, the Relentless, this is a go-wide Rat Colony swarm deck that turns removal into an army. Twenty-nine copies of Rat Colony form an extremely dense, redundant threat base, while Vren exiles opposing creatures that would die and pays out 1/1 Rat tokens at each end step. Supporting Rats like Karumonix, the Rat King, Lord Skitter, Sewer King, and Ogre Slumlord dig for more colonies, generate tokens, and multiply the swarm's damage. The primary path to victory is combat: a critical mass of Rats swings for lethal, often pushed through by Cover of Darkness or threshold unblockability, while Valley Rotcaller drains the entire table. The deck runs no infinite combos; its plan is incremental rat overwhelm, Vren-fueled token generation, and mass recursion via Echoing Return and Patriarch's Bidding.
