Villain Deck by WINTERBEAR24

Format: Commander

Commander: Norman Osborn // Green Goblin

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Norman Osborn // Green Goblin is the flexible engine of a Grixis Villain tribal deck that wants to discard cards into the graveyard, then cast them back via mayhem under Green Goblin's cost discount. The front face provides an unblockable connive trigger to load the graveyard and grow; the back face turns every nonland card into a mayhem spell and reduces all graveyard casting. The deck wins through incremental combat damage from flying/menace Villains, token generation from Madame Hydra and Avengers: Under Siege, and burn/drain from Crossbones and HYDRA Assault Robot. Without a true combo, it grinds out games using recursion (Behold the Sinister Six, Arnim Zola) and selective copy effects. Baron Strucker acts as a hidden commander, compounding Villain discounts and connive triggers.
