Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats deck is built around Sephiroth's death-trigger drain and the transform payoff. The front face turns sacrificed creatures into cards, while the back face trades a board to draw and adds a permanent emblem. The primary win is the Ashnod's Altar + Pitiless Plunderer + Reassembling Skeleton loop: infinite sacrifice triggers generate infinite mana and drain the table with any of several payoffs (Sephiroth, Vengeful Bloodwitch, Syr Konrad, Sanguine Bond). The commander is a major draw engine and can transform during a busy sacrifice turn, but the deck can still execute the combo without it. Secondary lines use tokens, Grave Pact-style attrition, and Exsanguinate. There is no hidden commander; the support legends are role players.
