Edgar Tepes (P8,4 - 790€) by NatronLauge

Format: Commander

Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Edgar Markov drives a Mardu Vampire tribal deck that wins through cheap Vampire swarms, aristocrat drains, and a two-card life-total loop. There is no hidden commander; Edgar's Eminence token engine and haste attack buff speed up the game, but the deck can function without him. The primary plan is incremental damage from tokens, Blood Artist effects, and lifelink Vampires, while the secondary plan assembles Bloodthirsty Conqueror or Exquisite Blood with Vito, Sanguine Bond, Cliffhaven Vampire, or Marauding Blight-Priest. Recursion and tutoring make the combo resilient. Weak areas are the moderately slow mana base and a thin stack package, with only one counterspell.
