Deck overview

This budget Gruul build is a Kibo, Uktabi Prince engine deck that converts Bananas and sacrificed artifacts into +1/+1 counters, card draw, and life. The primary plan is to deploy Kibo early, create Bananas for the table, then use attacks and artifact removal to grow a board of Apes and Monkeys. Secondary paths are big trampling beaters (Kogla, Grunn, Flopsie) and a flexible artifact/enchantment removal package; Anzrag's Rampage can cheat a creature in. Kibo's role is engine and counter-trigger: no DFC or hidden commander exists. The deck is a midrange value beatdown list that wins by grinding incremental counters into a final trample/pump swing.
