Deck overview

This mono-green Bear tribal deck focuses on curving out early Bear creatures, establishing board presence, and casting Beorn the Fierce to turn simple creatures into formidable threats. Beorn provides both an immediate +2/+2 tribal anthem and an engine that distributes trample counters while drawing two cards each combat. The deck accelerates using traditional land ramp like Cultivate and Kodama's Reach, transitioning into mid-game power plays with token producers such as Grizzly Fate and Dancing from Dark to Dawn. Secondary synergies from Ayula, Queen Among Bears provide board control through fight triggers, while Ruxa, Patient Professor turns vanilla Bears into unblockable attackers. The game plan culminates in overwhelming combat swings bolstered by Overrun. While the deck generates strong card flow from the command zone, its reliance on combat damage and lack of instant-speed board protection leave it vulnerable to creature sweepers.
