Deck overview

This is a Boros Dwarf-tribal deck built around Thorin, King of Durin's Folk. Its primary plan is to cast cheap Dwarf creatures so each ETB makes a Treasure, then pour those tokens into equipment and the global damage ability of Dain of the Ancient Halls. Secondary paths are equipment voltron on Thorin or Gimli, and a treasure-multiplier engine with Xorn, Academy Manufactor, Goldspan Dragon, and Smothering Tithe. The commander is a multiplier and finisher rather than an engine; Magda, Brazen Outlaw acts as hidden commander, tutoring artifacts and Dragons from Treasure. The deck wins by turning a large Treasure count into a double-strike combat step or by repeatedly triggering Dain of the Ancient Halls against every opponent.
