Deck overview

This Temur Paradox deck leverages the partnership of The Twelfth Doctor and Graham O'Brien to convert spells cast from outside the hand into overwhelming card advantage, mana, and board presence. The deck capitalizes heavily on the Prepare mechanic, which allows creatures to cast copies of powerful instant and sorcery spells from outside the hand. The Twelfth Doctor grants the first such spell each turn demonstrate, duplicating high-impact effects like Ancestral Recall, Seething Song, and Regrowth while growing into a formidable combat threat. Concurrently, Graham O'Brien generates a steady stream of Food tokens that fuel artifact synergies and mana production via Academy Manufactor, Storm-Kiln Artist, and Night of the Sweets' Revenge. After establishing an overwhelming resource advantage and wide board presence, the deck closes the game through a massive combat overrun powered by Night of the Sweets' Revenge or giant Fractal tokens from Jadzi, Steward of Fate // Oracle's Gift, backed by a robust suite of efficient counterspells.
