Deck overview

This Jeskai aggro-midrange deck commands an army of Marvel Heroes led by Captain America, Team Leader. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost Hero creatures that immediately gain haste, vigilance, and +1/+1 counters upon entering. This allows the deck to apply relentless combat pressure while developing card advantage engines such as Director Nick Fury, Jarvis, Earth's Mightiest Butler, and Rhystic Study. As the board state expands, asymmetric combat amplifiers like War Machine, Avenging Arsenal (granting double strike to modified creatures) and one-sided sweepers like Raise the Palisade and Wave Goodbye clear paths to eliminate opponents across Turns 5 to 7. The list is heavily fortified by premier defensive spells including Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, Flawless Maneuver, and Teferi's Protection, which shield the creature engine from board wipes. While vulnerable to repeated mass removal and missing infinite combo finishes, the deck delivers consistent, resilient combat velocity.
