This deck is an Abzan Food and lifegain midrange strategy led by partner commanders Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit and Sam, Loyal Attendant. The game plan focuses on creating Food tokens each turn, discounting their activation costs, and using steady life gain to trigger card draw through the Ring's temptation. In the mid-to-late game, the deck converts token generation and sacrifice into table-wide damage using aristocrat drain engines like Mirkwood Bats, Nadier's Nightblade, and Sanguine Bond, or through wide token swarms created by Assemble the Entmoot and Farmer Cotton.
