Aveline de Gran SHEEEEEESHHH by DuggyMTG

Format: Commander

Commander: Aveline de Grandpré

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Built around Aveline de Grandpre's damage-triggered +1/+1 counters, this Golgari deck turns deathtouch combat damage into a growing, trampling threat. Aveline's role is the engine: every hit from a deathtoucher adds counters, with Fynn, the Fangbearer as a hidden commander who converts the same attacks into poison counters. Secondary paths include doubling counters with Branching Evolution or Corpsejack Menace, drawing off Terrasymbiosis and Garruk's Uprising, and closing with an Unnatural Growth swing. Disguise is a minor tempo option; the deck is built for her face-up ability. Combat damage, then acceleration through counter multipliers, wins before opponents stabilize.
