Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Grixis wheel burn strategy commanded by Nekusar, the Mindrazer. The game plan accelerates mana on turns 1 and 2 to deploy Nekusar or redundant draw-punishers like Sheoldred, the Apocalypse and Underworld Dreams on turn 4. On turn 5, the deck transitions into critical onset by chaining mass wheel effects such as Wheel of Fortune, Windfall, and Time Spiral. Each wheel inflicts heavy burn damage across all opponents while refilling the pilot's hand. Mana generation from Waste Not and lethal poison acceleration from Phyresis or Glistening Oil allow the deck to close games rapidly on turn 6. A robust interaction suite of 18 spells, including Deflecting Swat, Force of Negation, and Deadly Rollick, safeguards the engine and disrupts opposing threats.
