Deck overview

This Golgari deck is led by Chatterfang, Squirrel General and focuses on aristocrat drain, token multiplication, and sudden combo finishes. Chatterfang turns every token created into additional 1/1 green Squirrels while offering built-in creature removal. The deck accelerates through early ramp pieces like Sol Ring, Dark Ritual, and Gilded Goose to establish its commander by Turn 3. On Turn 4, it deploys key engines like Academy Manufactor, Warren Soultrader, or Skullclamp to build massive card advantage. The primary win condition is an infinite loop with Pitiless Plunderer, which produces infinite Treasures, Squirrels, and death triggers to drain the entire table on Turn 5 alongside Bastion of Remembrance or Poison-Tip Archer. Alternatively, the deck can overwhelm opponents with a wide board buffed by Return of the Wildspeaker or Valley Rotcaller.
