Deck overview

This mono-white deck leverages The Sentry, Golden Guardian as an evasive, indestructible Voltron commander paired with damage redirection and platinum-style life preservation engines. The primary game plan deploys Sentry on Turn 4, suits it up on Turn 5 with high-impact equipment like Commander's Plate or damage-redirecting auras like Pariah, and eliminates opponents through lethal commander damage. Concurrently, the deck deploys pillowfort taxes and hard survival permanents such as Cloudsteel Kirin, Herald of Eternal Dawn, and Worship to make losing via conventional damage nearly impossible. An elite protection suite featuring Teferi's Protection, Flare of Fortitude, and Galadriel's Dismissal shields key permanents from exile and bounce effects, while efficient exile removal keeps opposing threats in check. The deck's primary constraint is its linear, single-target combat clock, requiring multiple turn cycles to eliminate a four-player pod.
