Commander: Animar, Soul of Elements

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a midrange Elemental-tribal value deck helmed by Animar, Soul of Elements, built around the commander's creature-cost discount to chain out expensive Elementals ahead of curve. The engine is Risen Reef plus trigger-doublers like Roaming Throne and Twinflame Travelers, while a dense counter-doubling package (Doubling Season, Branching Evolution, Primal Vigor, The Earth Crystal, Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider) supercharges Mossborn Hydra and friends. Omnath, Locus of Rage provides landfall token generation and death-ping reach, and Champion of the Path converts each Elemental ETB into table-wide damage. The deck wins through combat damage from enormous creatures plus incidental ping damage - there are no infinite combos, making this a pure value/beatdown strategy that grinds to a critical mass of board presence.
