Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger storm deck commanded by Vivi Ornitier. The game plan revolves around casting dense low-cost cantrips to grow Vivi's power, trigger widespread noncombat burn to all opponents, and convert Vivi's power into a massive burst of red and blue mana. By pairing Vivi with damage-draw engines like Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, and Tandem Lookout, every noncreature spell draws three cards, creating a virtually deterministic storm turn on Turn 5 that incinerates the table. The deck features redundant burn engines such as Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, and Harmonic Prodigy, alongside a compact backup combo in Niv-Mizzet, Parun. While lacking zero-drop competitive fast mana, its internal mana velocity, deep card selection, and low-cost countermagic provide a resilient, explosive engine capable of ending the game in a single decisive turn.
