Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Grixis midrange deck commanded by Edward Kenway. It establishes early board presence with low-mana Pirates and Vehicles, using them to accelerate mana and crew larger threats. Once Edward Kenway enters the battlefield on Turn 4, tapped creatures and Vehicles generate a steady stream of Treasure tokens at each end step. Connecting with Vehicles triggers Kenway's combat ability, allowing the deck to exile and cast spells from opponents' libraries. The deck converts this massive mana velocity and card advantage into victory through alternate artifact win conditions such as Revel in Riches and Mechanized Production, or by overwhelming the table with evasive combat damage and direct burn from Shao Jun. A balanced suite of counterspells, spot removal, and creature theft ensures the deck can disrupt opponents while advancing its own board state.
