Deck overview

This deck is a Polymorph-focused control list commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan generates inexpensive creature tokens or animates noncreature artifacts during the early turns. On turn 5, the deck casts Jace or a dedicated cheat spell to transform a small token into a massive flying threat from the 99, specifically Magister Sphinx or The Ur-Sphinx. Magister Sphinx immediately reduces an opponent's life total to 10, creating an urgent clock that closes out players in sequential combat steps. The deck relies heavily on a basic Plains and Island mana base, utilizing artifact mana rocks and fixing enchantments to satisfy its four-color requirements. While the deck boasts robust board control with sweepers and efficient spot removal, it lacks broad stack interaction, making its setup phase vulnerable to well-timed removal.
