Ur-sphinx by user9513308

Format: Commander

Commander: The Ur-Sphinx

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The Ur-Sphinx commands an Esper Sphinx-tribal deck that uses cost-reduction engines and card advantage to overwhelm opponents in combat or draw through the entire library. Eminence automatically reduces Sphinx costs from turn one, letting you deploy large flying threats well ahead of curve. Cards like Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign and Kindred Discovery turn Sphinx casts into explosive draw chains, churning through the deck to assemble overwhelming boards. You close games by delivering massive aerial combat damage boosted by Door of Destinies or by drawing your entire library directly into an alternate win condition via Laboratory Maniac or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries.
