Deck overview

This mono-white control deck is commanded by Gandalf the White, focusing on historic permanents and artifact value engines. By granting flash to legendary and artifact spells while doubling their entering and dying triggers, Gandalf turns ordinary utility cards into potent value generators. The deck controls the board through an extensive removal suite featuring six board sweepers, premium exile spells, and selective tax pieces like Blind Obedience and Winter Orb. Mana ramp via artifacts and land-catchup spells allows the deck to stabilize the early game before transitioning into commanding high-end threats such as Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Emrakul, the World Anew, and The One Ring. While lacking instant-speed combo finishes, it grinds out opponents with resilient, indestructible beaters and card advantage.
