Deck overview

This Bant midrange deck leverages Aang, at the Crossroads to cheat mid-cost creatures onto the battlefield before transforming into Aang, Destined Savior. Once transformed, Aang animates lands each combat step with Earthbend, turning them into vigilant, resilient attackers that return tapped if destroyed or exiled. The rest of the deck supports this plan through +1/+1 counter engines like Innkeeper's Talent and Noyan Dar, Roil Shaper, thematic Serpent beaters, and standalone bombs such as Koma, Cosmos Serpent. A focused suite of low-cost countermagic and instant-speed hexproof spells protects key permanents from spot removal. While the deck lacks fast combo finishes or stax pieces, it excels at generating steady board presence, surviving conventional sweepers via recurring lands, and grinding out opponents through overwhelming combat steps or an alternate victory condition via Simic Ascendancy.
