Deck overview

This is a Gruul "modified" midrange deck built around Chishiro, the Shattered Blade. Every Aura and Equipment that enters the battlefield creates a 2/2 red Spirit with menace, and Chishiro's end-step trigger converts all of those modified bodies into +1/+1-counter bombs. The deck layers a dense counter-doubling package - Doubling Season, Branching Evolution, Hardened Scales, Kami of Whispered Hopes, Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, High Score - so each Aura/Equipment quickly becomes a massive board swing. It wins primarily by attacking with a wide, trampling, menace-heavy team, amplified by the extra-combat effects of Akki Battle Squad and Godo, Bandit Warlord. Several real infinite lines serve as alternate kills: Scurry Oak + Ivy Lane Denizen generates infinite Squirrels and counters, The Red Terror + All Will Be One pings infinitely, and Godo, Bandit Warlord + Helm of the Host produces infinite combat steps. All Will Be One is the deck's central combo outlet, converting any counter loop - including Chishiro's own end-step pump - into direct damage.
